We had an excellent and awesome experience with Lisbon Private Transfers. Tiago was incredibly patient and helpful during the planning process, answering all our questions and offering great suggestions.
Our drivers, Pedro and Nuno, were exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, making us feel comfortable throughout our day trips. They were very punctual, accommodating, jovial, and fun to interact with, sharing great insights about the places we visited. The Mercedes V Class vans were comfortable and fit all our luggage perfectly for our group of twelve. Their expertise, ease of communication, and the peace of mind they provided truly made our trip one of the most memorable.

We had an amazing experience with the private transfer service, and especially with our driver, Dalila. She was fantastic from start to finish and genuinely went above and beyond for us.

Dalila took us along some beautiful and special parts of the Portuguese coast, showed us places we never would have found on our own, and shared so much interesting knowledge about Portuguese history and the areas we were visiting. She had such a warm and positive attitude throughout the entire day, and we always felt comfortable and safe with her driving.

She was also incredibly accommodating with our schedule and stayed with us later into the evening, which we really appreciated.

Overall, it was an excellent experience and having Dalila as our driver made the day even more memorable. We would absolutely recommend this service to anyone looking for a comfortable, professional and personalized way to explore Portugal!

I do not normally like to rate my experiences. Exception. Our Driver, Bruno, was 5++++ stars. Bruno reached out to us immediately after being notified. He kept us updated and arrived early. Very experienced driver.

Bruno was Knowledgeable, kind, polite, humorous. Knew when to let our party talk and knew when to participate.

Bruno was accommodating, helpful, and knowledgeable; could answer every question we had!

I think Bruno was able to read our party and respond appropriately. This resulted in an absolutely positive experience. No complaints.

We had a long trip from Porto through the Upper Douro to sample some wine and food and then down to Lisbon. Our driver, Sergio, was fantastic, very friendly and as he said “there to solve problems”. Would highly recommend Lisbon Private Transfers if you need to go pretty much anywhere in Portugal around the Lisbon area.

Lisbon Private Transfers was quite possibly the best decision my husband and I made regarding our honeymoon. Tiago provided effective and timely communication from the start. We ended up booking three separate transfers through their company. Henrique picked us up from Lisbon airport and had the patience of a saint while we traversed customs and baggage claim! The transfer from airport to hotel was seamless. Sergio picked us up from our hotel in Lisbon and drove us south to the Algarve. We had the BEST day with Sergio- he told us so much about Lisbon as we made our way to the highway, scheduled a stop in Setubal where we toured a fort, and ate one of the best meals we had in Portugal. After a few days in the Algarve, Henrique came to our resort and drove us back up to Lisbon so we could fly home. Each of these men made us feel comfortable and safe. I cannot say enough great things about Lisbon Private Transfers and their drivers- they are worth every penny!!

Owner's reply
Wow... thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. Reading this genuinely made my day, and I couldn't have asked for a nicer review to mark our 100th Google review.

It was a real pleasure helping with your honeymoon, and I'm so happy that Henrique and Sergio looked after you so well throughout your time in Portugal. I'll be sure to pass your kind words on to both of them.

We always try to offer more than just a transfer. We want our guests to feel relaxed, looked after and to experience a little of Portugal along the way.

Thank you again for trusting us with such an important holiday. It was a pleasure to be a small part of your honeymoon, and on behalf of all of us at Lisbon Private Transfers, we wish you both a lifetime of happiness together. We hope to welcome you back to Portugal again one day.

Warm regards,
Tiago

Arthur made our Sintra day absolutely unforgettable. From the moment he picked us up, he took care of every detail, tickets, timing, the best stops, so all we had to do was enjoy. Traveling with young kids (including a toddler who woke up under the weather), he was patient, flexible, and endlessly kind, adjusting the whole day around us. His knowledge of Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais brought everything to life. If you want a seamless, personal, and genuinely warm tour experience, book Arthur. The highlight of our trip!

Fernando is professional, punctual and polite. He drove us from Porto to Lisbon and came up with a whole day itinerary for us. We made 3 stops at 3 very lovely yet different villages. We had time to shop, eat, drink, walk…whatever we wanted. It was fabulous!! Fernando was knowledgeable about the area and history. Next time we are in Portugal we will definitely be using Fernando again!!

My family of 4 used Lisbon Private Transfers to go from Lisbon to Portugal. The trip was perfect. We stopped at Obidos for sightseeing and Nazare for lunch at Tabernassa Restaurant on the water. Arthur, our driver, was very personable and very informative about Portugal. We learned a great deal speaking with him. The 2 stops were excellent. We enjoyed our visits at both.

We had great private transfer from Lisbon to Porto with multiple stops along the way. Our driver, Arthur Marques, was an awesome driver and very personable and professional. With his knowledge of the areas we visited, we were able to get the most out of stops in the limited amount of time we had in order to still get to our final destination on time. We had 4 people in our group and everyone was very comfortable and taken care of. Highly recommended.

We took 2 trips with Lisbon Private Transfers. First we took a full day Sintra tour from Lisbon with multiple stops. Our driver Jose drove a pristine Mercedes and was extremely prompt and knowledgeable.
Our second trip was transport from Lisbon to Douro Valley with sight seeing stops and lunch along the way. We had full flexibility to choose our stops after consulting with our driver Pedro. We chose to stop in Fatima and Coimbra and the lunch stop he picked was out of this world.

Owner's reply
Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm so pleased to hear you enjoyed both your Sintra tour and your journey to the Douro Valley.

Jose and Pedro will be delighted to hear your kind comments. We always aim to give our guests the flexibility to travel at their own pace, with recommendations along the way to help them experience the very best of Portugal.

We had an amazing experience with this company during our first trip to Portugal, and a huge part of that was our driver, Artur. He transported our group of five women through multiple cities, accommodated several stops along the way, and was always friendly, patient, professional, and incredibly accommodating.

As first-time visitors to Portugal, having someone we could trust made all the difference. Artur made us feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire trip. That peace of mind is truly priceless when traveling abroad.

Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so easy and enjoyable, and a special thank you to Artur for taking such great care of us. We would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Portugal.

Tiago and his team provided exceptional services to our travelers! We had a large group of people, some staying in different places and departing at different times and they kept everything running smoothly and seamlessly. They were very patient with us as we worked through schedules and were flexible when we had to make last minute changes. Lisbon Private Transfers is now our preferred transportation provider in Lisbon!

We toured Sintra particularly The Initiation Well, Cabo de Roca, Cais Cais and tasted the delicious pastel de nata at Belem. Bruno was very communicative prior to the trip which made us feel secure and arrived early for pick up. He transported us all day and provided information about all of the places we would visit. He suggested the most beautiful location for lunch at the beach. The whole day went smoothly and I would not hesitate to book this tour! Great time was had by the four of us.

Our group of 6 had a great experience with Lisbon Private Transfers. Arthur Marques was our driver for 5 days - picked us up at Lisbon Airport, took us to Comporta for a few days and then back to Lisbon at the end of the trip. He was available each day for trips in and around Comporta - dinners, excursions, etc. He was flexible and worked with us as plans changed. Communication with the company was great when planning the trip, as was communication with Arthur throughout our time in Portugal. I highly recommend Lisbon Private Transfers and Arthur.

We recently were in Portugal for our daughter’s wedding. We decided to have an excursion and used Lisbon Private Transfers. What a wonderful experience. They were able to accommodate 30 people on a large bus tour including entry tickets to 2 Sintra attractions. The bus was very clean and comfortable. Our driver and tour guide were so professional and kind.
Additionally, I used the company for airport transportation. Once again they were fantastic. Some of our guests were held up in Lisbon customs for 3 hours. The driver was in constant communications with us and patiently waited.
I cannot say enough good things about Tiago and his patience in the process of coordinating, communicating via email, and providing excellent service!

Owner's reply
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review. It was truly a pleasure to be part of such a special occasion for your family. Coordinating transportation and excursions for a wedding group is a big responsibility, so we’re incredibly happy to hear everything went smoothly and that your group enjoyed the Sintra tour and airport transfers.

We especially appreciate your kind words about Tiago, as well as our driver and guide. Patience, communication, and making guests feel cared for are things we take great pride in, so it means a lot to know this came through during your experience — even with the unexpected customs delays!

Thank you again for trusting Lisbon Private Transfers with such an important trip. We wish your daughter and her partner a lifetime of happiness, and we hope to welcome you all back to Portugal again someday.

We have used Lisbon Private transfers 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Picked us up at airport. So easy coming into a new location. Picked up my family again new country and unfamiliar with the area. They were comfortable with the drivers. Used the service for a private trip to Sintra. So nice to have a guide and safe driver. Arthur did a great job. Very considerate and well informed.

Owner's reply
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad you found the service helpful and felt comfortable with the drivers. Arthur will be thrilled to hear your kind words. Looking forward to assisting you again in the future!

Dalila was an amazing tour guide! She spent the day with us today from driving us from Lisbon to Algarve in the morning and back at night! She also took the time to show us some beautiful sites along the way. I would highly recommend Dalila if you’re looking for a private transfer, she was wonderful <3 She even made a stop to find me some pastel de natas.

We had an amazing experience with our drivers in Portugal (Fernando and Arthur). They drove us from Lisbon to Porto and back, and the entire trip was seamless. Both drivers were incredibly professional, friendly, and so accommodating - especially with us traveling with an infant. They made sure we were comfortable the whole way, and we truly appreciated their patience and care. Highly recommend!

He is a very positive representative of your company.

I contacted Fernando at Lisbon Private Transfers when I realized that my family and I had 27 hours in Lisbon on a stopover. We wanted to make the most of it. We arranged airport pickup, hotel drop, reservations for a fado dinner, with transport to and from and then several hours of sightseeing by sedan, followed by an airport drop. It was flawless. Our driver, Nelson, was prompt, courteous, helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone visiting Lisbon!

Dalila drove us from Lisbon to Tavira today and it was a very pleasurable and enjoyable day! She picked us up at our hotel promptly and we discussed our potential itinerary and she made some great suggestions. She drove us to an awesome fort with a great view over Setubal, through some little towns, and took us to a charming local restaurant where we had an amazing lunch! We never would have discovered these places on our own. She was very accommodating to our schedule/plans, knowledgeable about the region, and extremely passionate about her job. I highly recommend her and Lisbon Private Transfers if you are in need of a driver.

Amazing!! We highly recommend! Hire this company, their prices are reasonable and their service is impeccable! My husband and I traveled for 12 days in Portugal with 3 main stays, Vilamoura, Lisbon and Porto and we initially debated on how to travel to and from - rent a car, take the train, or higher a car service. Yes, car services can be an investment, but boy was this worth it!!! We are so very thankful we went with Lisbon Private Transfers. Our driver.Fernando, was way more than a driver, he was an amazing travel partner who guided us every step of the way. From our initial email and the many that followed, he provided suggestions on where to stop and what to see. We spent 5 days of the trip with Fernando and we are so grateful we did. We saw way more and experienced much more of Portugal because of our decision to hire Lisbon Private Transfers and Fernando as our driver. We saw the towns of Setibul, Sintra, Cascais, Fatima, Aveiro, Nazaré, and Obidos. He also took us to the rock, the western most point in Europe! On Day 5 - we were going to do a group tour to Sintra and Cascais or Uber but decided to go with Fernando instead. And so grateful we did. He took care of everything, drop off right in front of gates, knew to get shuttle tickets to the palace and toured us around the town after. There is no way we would have done all this and seen so much! Fernando also gave us restaurant recommendations, which were all excellent, and he even called and booked the reservation for us when necessary. Fernando was way more than our driver, he was our travel partner/friend and we look forward to hiring this company and Fernando again
in April when we return to Portugal for a wedding. We highly recommend!

Owner's reply
Well Wow Jacquie what a review! We all became slightly emotional for your high praise. It is great to hear our business ethos reflected back through your words and experience. Fernando has not stopped gloating from your praise :). He has passed on to us all how much he enjoyed the time spent with you and your husband and also by the end refered to you as more than clients but friends.
We look forwards to seeing you again in April and once again your words go a long to not only furture customers but to us as a team.
Kindest regards,
Tiago

Arthur was our driver in Lisbon when we visited in late June of this year. To say we got lucky, would be an understatement. Arthur was the most knowledgeable and kind person that we have ever experienced as a driver in all of our travels. I highly recommend Arthur if you are planning a trip in Lisbon and need a driver for any situation. The car with Lisbon Private Transfers was also extremely clean and accommodating for a large family.

Fernando and Lisbon private transfers were absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! Would highly recommend booking this private transfer to ease your stress and worry about getting from airport to hotel with a local who is fluent in English and Portuguese and who is able to inform you about the local culture and history of the area! Easy to communicate with prior to arrival and he was waiting for us with waters and a luxury car for transfer to our hotel after a long flight. Cannot say enough good things about our experience 😊

Artur our driver was courteous, funny and on time which made our trip through Fatima/Nazare and Obidos incredible. He also drove us from Lisbon to Algarve which made the transfer of 7 adults with suitcases a breeze. He even recommended local restaurants to explore on the way down. I cannot praise Lisbon Private Transfers highly enough. We used their services recently for an unusual trip. I made the deposit two months in advance. The company kept us well informed about when the balance was due etc. Our driver Fernando met us at the cruise ship terminal in Lisbon and drove us the five hour trip to Seville with a stop along the way for a fabulous lunch. We knew nothing about Portugal or Spain but he explained lots of things during the drive. His English was perfect (as we understand is the case with all his drivers ). We spent four days in Seville before moving on to Malaga. The company is Lisbon based, but even so, he was very accomodating and also drove us to Malaga where we said a sad goodbye to him. His cars are all prestige vehicles and he is the ultimate professional. I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend this company.

We had an amazing experience with this transfer service from Lisbon to Porto, with memorable stops in Óbidos, Nazaré, and Fátima. The highlight of our journey was our driver, Fernando — he was incredibly helpful, professional, and attentive throughout the entire trip.

Fernando made everything so smooth and stress-free. He was always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and went out of his way to meet all our needs. His local knowledge, kindness, and flexibility really enhanced our day. We felt safe, relaxed, and truly cared for.

If you're planning a trip from Lisbon to Porto and want to make the most of it, we highly recommend this service — and definitely ask for Fernando!

Excellent service! Everything went very smooth starting with the correspondence with Fernando, who was quick and precise in his answers, and finishing with the trip itself. Artur, our driver, proved to be very professional and kind person. We took a transfer from Lisbon to Porto with three stops in Obidos, Nazare and Aveira. Out MB van was comfortable and Artur was very friendly and helpful, we spent excellent time ( total 8 h, with three stops and lunch)
Highly recommended!!!

It was a delight having Fernando as our chauffeur on our wedding day!

From the moment he picked us up from the church, his friendly and warm demeanour put us at ease.

He was attentive to our needs (including champagne when we got to the car 🥂), ensuring we were comfortable and relaxed throughout our journeys with him.

Fernando's professionalism and genuine care made a difference on our special day. We highly recommend his services to any couple or holiday makers looking for a chauffeur who is not only reliable but also adds a touch of warmth and character to the occasion.

Thank you, Fernando!

Owner's reply

We had an exceptional experience with Fernando. He came through for us on the day of the massive blackout in Portugal. We had just checked out of our rental in Porto and were planning to take a return train to Lisbon to our next scheduled rental. We were in a cafe when the blackout happened. We quickly learned that trains were not running. With two kids and luggage in tow, we didn’t know what to do. Luckily Lisbon Private Transfers came up high on search results. After connecting with Fernando, he guided us to where to meet him for the best place for pick up to avoid the absolute gridlock ensuing from the black out. It was a hard trek but worth it because from the moment he picked us up, it was smooth sailing all the way to the hotel. The car was very comfortable and conversation so good. He kept us apprised when the next available restroom stop would be so we could plan - much appreciated with the kids.

I recommend highly Lisbon Private Transfer for any private car needs!!

Owner's reply
Hi Elsie, it definitely wasn’t a normal day! I am glad we could help.
I hope you and the children have a safe return home.

Fernando was awesome - In fact, we requested his services a second time based on our first experience! He picked us up promptly, assisted us, and got us to our destination in comfort. Even when the address was missing key information, his extra effort helped us tremendously. Such a gentleman - Thank you so much!

My wife and I traveled to Portugal for the first time. We wanted to see Lisboa, Cascais, and Algarve (Portimão).

We were concerned that traveling on a train with luggage would be difficult, so we decided to seek a private driver. We selected Lisbon Private Transfers solely due to their 5-star ratings on Google.

I now understand why...

I spoke with Fernando, and he assured me that he would take care of us. As soon as we arrived in Lisbon, our driver (Arthur) was waiting for us.

Arthur took us to Cascais and later in the week to Portimao (a 3-hour drive), only to return later in the week to take us back to Lisbon.

The following morning, he was waiting in our hotel lobby to take us to the Lisbon Airport at 2:15 am. for an early morning departure to the United States.

I can not say enough about Arthur. He was a GREAT driver and was very friendly and professional. He spoke impeccable English, and by the end of our trip, we considered him a friend and even shared lunch with him in Setubul.

Lisbon Private Transfers took away ALL of the stress of worrying about transportation between cities in Portugal, and personally, I can not say enough about our driver Arthur.

On our way back to Lisbon from Portimão, Arthur showed us the magical town of Setubul, including its castles and city markets. He recommended a local restaurant and even made reservations for us for lunch (and we insisted that he join us).

Lisbon Private Transfers is a first-class business with attention to detail and first-class drivers.

I HIGHLY recommend this company for your transportation needs in Portugal.

Take the stress away and let Lisbon Private Transfers make it easy for you.

Extremely fair price.

We will definitely return to Portugal, and we will definitely use Lisbon Private Transfers.

Owner's reply
Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us! We're thrilled Arthur made your trip enjoyable and stress-free. Your recommendation truly means a lot. We look forward to welcoming you back to Portugal soon! Safe travels!

We hired the Bentley Flying Spur driven by Nuno during our visit to Lisbon. It was not only a seamless experience, but a warm welcome and real hospitality with a personal touch. Nuno helped with airport departure, acted as a tour guide one minute and a babysitter to our four year old the next. Lisbon is not the easiest to drive in and we would definitely recommend the full day car and driver service.

Owner's reply
Thank you for your review Sebastian. Nuno is a perfect example of our Portuguese hospitality, professional personal driver one minute and then caring family man the next!
We are extremely happy to know you enjoyed our services and tours around Lisbon. We looking forwards to greeting you again on your return.
Kind regards, Fernando

Great experience - they picked me up from the Lisbon airport and took me back a week later. The driver knew the area extremely well and avoided some bad traffic, especially on the way back to the airport. He also speaks great English, so if your Portuguese isn't quite there yet, you'll have no problem.

Owner's reply
Thank you Joshua, It was a pleasure to talk with you and discussing your driving experiences in Ireland. Hopefully we will get to provide you with another transfer in the future. Obrigado, Fernando
